It was a busy Christmas weekend for Kansas State Troopers.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, troopers wrote over 1,000 citations and warnings.

Troopers made 7 DUI arrests, but worked no DUI crashes. Additionally, the Patrol worked no fatal crashes.

The reporting period for the holiday weekend ran from 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 24, 2015, through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2015.
