No injuries are reported after three tanker cars went off the tracks Sunday afternoon in Hays.

Local police reportedly got the call a little after 5 p.m. about the incident near 9th and Milner. Although there was no evidence of any toxic hazard and the derailed cars weren’t blocking traffic, Hays firefighters set up a 300-foot perimeter around the site of the crash.

The cause is under investigation.
