Suspect Steals From Sound Sleeper

An aggravated burglary in the 1900 Block of Roberts results in approximately $7,000 total loss.

Captain Paul Forrester of the Salina Police Department said: Sometime between 11:00 PM on the 21st and 6:00 AM on the 22nd someone broke into a home and stole multiple items including: A Asus laptop, PlayStation 3, A Hewlett-Packard Printer, an Xbox one, and three sets of keys.

A white 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Belonging to Garcia Masonry was also taken. The tag is Kansas 056 ECO.

A 59 year-old woman living in the basement woke up at 11:00 PM and didn’t notice anything amiss but when she woke up again at 6 AM she noticed multiple doors open and items missing. She also told officers she left the backdoor unlocked when she went to bed.

There are no suspects at this time and no one was injured during the break in.
