Suspect Arrested

Police officers interrupt a burglary in progress.

Officers responded to a call after someone reported seeing a man break a window on a a home in the 700 block of W. Prescott on Sunday evening around 9:05pm.

The suspect then drove away in a maroon van.

Police attempted to stop the van after spotting the vehicle which led officers on a short low speed pursuit that ended in the 100 block of S. Clark.

Michael Stingley, 43 of Salina was arrested on multiple charges that include damage to property, DUI and flee and elude.
