A homeless woman who was found strangled and unconscious in a Hutchinson alley almost two weeks ago is dead.

Authorities say 29-year-old Lora Beth Stratton had been on life support at a Wichita hospital since August 24th before she expired Wednesday evening. Twenty-two-year-old Granville Ervin was charged with aggravated battery and obstruction in the case.

Reno County officials yesterday moved to add an additional charge of attempted premeditated first-degree murder in the case.

Ervin’s wife, 22-year-old Delshay Visonhaler, reportedly also faces charges.
