As a 131 year old Salina school is preparing for its a final graduation, it is offering a keepsake for former students, faculty, staff, and anyone else interested in preserving its memory.

A book of memories titled “SJMS Forever”  is now available for purchase. The contents of the book are comprised of personal stories, feelings, and photos which were submitted.

According to the school, among other things the book contains photographs from the long history of St. John’s Military School. There are also letters written by Old Boys (Cadets), who attended during the schools 131-year history from 1887 – 2019.

“SJMS Forever” is now available online.

St. John’s Military School has been open in Salina since 1888. Back in February the school announced it will close its doors at the end of this current 2018-19 academic school year.

The final commencement at the school is scheduled for Saturday, May 11th.
