Kansas businesses will be able to apply for a second round of CARES Act money next week.

Governor Laura Kelly announced yesterday that grant applications can be submitted starting at noon on August 19th.

Over 130-million dollars will be sent out for financial relief and to help businesses who may see a rise in demand due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The governor says the grant plan comes at the advisement of the SPARK Taskforce and the State Finance Council.
