Saving You a Seat

KSAL StaffMarch 21, 2016

Buses full of Royals fans will roll from Salina to The K this summer to watch as the Kansas City Royals defend their World Championship crown in 2016.

KSAL’s Clarke Sanders joined in on the Morning News Monday with a look at the four trips that are scheduled for June, August and September to watch the Royals.

Sanders says over the past couple of seasons the one day road trips to KC and back have become more popular than staying for a weekend series.

“For whatever reason, I don’t know if people are just more busy these days or what but the one day trips – the up and backs are more popular so that’s what we’ll do,” Sanders said.

According to Sanders, the base price for each trip is $87 per person with a $7 discount for every additional date you sign up for. Price includes a game ticket and all transportation.
