Salina Senior Services Receives $10,000 Grant

Seniors in Saline County will benefit from new grant funding.

According to the county, the Saline County Department of Senior Services was awarded a $10,000 grant by Salina Regional Health Center’s Community Health Investment Program (CHIP) Grant.

The Department of Senior Services is a vibrant, busy place that enables older adults to live active and independent lives by providing services such as Meals on Wheels, social activities, and access to resources for furthering care.

These grant funds will be used to assist in the restoration and repair of the building so that County budgeted funds can be used to expand programs and increase services to seniors.
