A theft of checks is this week’s Salina Crime Stoppers crime of the week.

Between January 24, 2018 and February 6, 2018 unknown suspects stole an undetermined number of checks from a residence in the 300 block of Third Street, Smolan, Kansas. One of the checks was forged and cashed on February 17, 2018 at Check Into Cash located at 2100 S. 9th Street in Salina.
The suspects are Patrice Kyles-Franklin, Johnna Howell, Johnnell Howell, and Melvin Sanford. They are reportedly transients from Texas and possibly residing in or around the Salina area.
