Saddle Stolen

A saddle was stolen from a secured barn in rural northern Saline County.

Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that the theft occurred between Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and Thursday at 9 a.m. from a property in the 4300 block of N. Ohio.

Someone allegedly entered the secured barn and stole a brown saddle. The Circle Y brand, Park and Trail model, saddle had silver conchos and a blank silver name plate on it.

There was no sign of forced entry. The saddle is valued at $1,000.
