Reunited And It Feels So Good

Todd PittengerSeptember 6, 2019

A large pet turtle which went missing three years ago has been reunited with its family.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Three years ago the turtle escaped from his owner in Salina. On Thursday a concerned citizen spotted it crossing Markley road in east Salina and stopped to make sure it didn’t get run over. A pair of passing state troopers stopped to assist.

The agency says lucky enough the owner had placed an ID tag on the shell.

Turtle and owner now re-united, and the owner was amazed and delighted to find out that his turtle had been found and was still alive.
