PHOTO GALLERY: Dust Causes Crashes

Blowing dust, causing near-zero visibility, caused a couple of multiple vehicle crashes along Interstate 70 in Geary County west of Junction City late Friday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, one of the crash scenes involved 6 vehicles. The other involved 4 vehicles.

Traffic was backed up for nearly 10 miles in both directions as first responders from multiple agencies worked the scene.

There were do immediate reports of injuries.
