One person was injured following a plane crash near Goddard.

Authorities say a small plane went down about 2:30pm Sunday afternoon near North 167th Street and West Central after the pilot took off, but soon discovered the aircraft was having mechanical issues.

The plane suffered minor damage, and the pilot was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
