Salina Police are investigating a residential burglary after a high-end bike was stolen from a garage.

Captain Paul Forrester tells KSAL News that sometime between 6pm Tuesday and 7:30am Wednesday morning, someone entered a garage in the 800 block of Highland and stole a Trek EX 8 mountain bicycle valued at $1,700.

The owner told police he mistakenly left his garage door open overnight.
