Lawmakers Overturn Religious Gathering Limit

Kansas Governor Laura Kelly’s executive order limiting the number of people at religious gatherings is overturned.

The Kansas Legislative Coordinating Council overturned the order yesterday, just one day after it was issued in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Kelly’s order limited church and other religious gatherings to groups of ten people or less.

A statewide stay at home order remains in effect until April 19th.
