Knife Threats

KSAL StaffJuly 7, 2016

A Salina man was taken into custody following an investigation into threats he made with a knife.

Wednesday, Salina Police arrested 56-year-old Russell Disney on charges that include use of a deadly weapon and aggravated assault.

Police allege back on June 12th, Disney leaned in through a car’s window with a knife and threatened three adults in a vehicle parked outside the Chapel Ridge Apartments located at 2363 Chapel Ridge Place.

Police say Disney did not want a female acquaintance to leave in the car with the group.

No one was injured.
