Hit and Run

KSAL StaffJune 27, 2016

An argument between a Salina couple ends with a man being hit by a car.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that Friday morning around 7:45am, officers were called to a north Salina home after an disagreement turned into an injury.

Police say the woman was attempting to leave in her 4-door sedan when the man in his 40’s stepped in front of the car’s bumper to try and stop her.

She drove forward, hit the man and bumped him back on the street causing an abrasion on his buttocks.

No arrest has been made and police say the man refused treatment by EMS at the scene.
