Smoky Valley and Haven Split Varsity Games

In girls action Smoky Valley kept pace with the Haven Wildcats for most of the first half but Emily Hendrixson’s 13 points paced the wildcats to a 24-17 lead then put the hammer down and outscored the Vikings 14-2 in the 3rd and went on to win 49-28. Hendrixson poured in 23 to lead Haven. Behanna, Otto & Franklin each had 6 for the Vikings.

 

in boys action Haven out paced the Vikings in the first have leading 27-20 but Smoky Valley came out focused in the 2nd half and outscored the wildcats 30-17 to win 50-40. Reinert led 3 players in double figures with 14, Adams 13, Weldy 11. Smoky Valley improves to 4-2 1-0 league. Vikings will travel to Halstead Jan. 5th 2018.
