One person was killed in a single vehicle crash in Dickinson County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was headed west on U.S. 56 Highway. The truck failed to negotiate a curve, entered a ditch, and overturned.

The driver, who was ejected in the rollover, was killed. He is identified as 38-year-old Luis Salazar from Wichita.

The crash happened just before 1:30 Tuesday morning 1.5 miles south of Herington in Dickinson County.
