Saline County has awarded scholarships to a half dozen high school seniors.
The six students who are attending area high schools each received $1,000 scholarships to study agriculture. These scholarships can be renewed three additional times.
The money for the scholarships comes from the leasing of 1,100 acres of property that Oliver Hagg donated to the county in 1991, in the hopes of promoting agriculture.
The scholarship recipients are:

- Kaitlyn Elder
- Madison Crowder
- Kyler Cox
- Kaylee Heimer
- Nicholas Davenport
