Last night a young mom and her 2 year-old son were stranded on Magnolia.

Sheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News: Last night at approximately 8:50 PM a young mother was driving in the 9000 block of E. Magnolia. The 27 year-old from Salina attempted to drive though high water when her car stalled and she became stranded. Deputies were able to wade into the water and help the woman and her 2 year-old son to safety.

No one was injured.
