Sarah ReppMay 20, 2019

A 51-year-old Salina man discovered someone stole approximately $1,300 of various items out of his Jeep Wrangler sometime on Saturday May 18th.

Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester told KSAL News: The victim is unsure when or where exactly the burglary occurred but Police assume the items were taken while the Jeep Wrangler was unlocked and parked at home in the 2200 block of Melrose.

The missing items include a Brown Satchel Bag, an iPad with a Gray/Blue Case, and a pair of Zune Headphones.  There were a few other miscellaneous items also stolen. The total loss is estimated to be around $1,300.

The Salina Police Department has no suspects at this time.
