A special Christmas open house is planned in Lindsborg this weekend. Saturday from 10AM to 5PM is the Lindsborg Christmas Artists’ Studio Open House event.
Organizers say this yearly Christmas event focuses on an opportunity for visitors to experience first-hand the working studios of area artists as well as Lindsborg’s museums and galleries.
There will be an abundance of art available in all mediums to purchase for yourself or anyone on your Christmas list. Holiday treats will be served at many of the studios and galleries, and musicians will entertain as you browse and enjoy the artwork.
A brochure will list the artists and provide a photo and brief bio, along with a map indicating their studio’s location. The Christmas Artists’ Studio Open House brochure may be picked up at the Red Barn Studio, 212 South Main, Lindsborg, and at participating studios. A sign will be placed at each studio for easy identification.
The event is sponsored by the Raymer Society for the Arts, the Lindsborg Arts Council, and the participating artists.
