A theft from a vehicle which was parked outside a manufacturing facility in a Salina County community prompted an arrest.
According to Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan, Thursday morning deputies were sent to the Great Plains Manufacturing Land Pride facility in Kipp to a report of a theft from a vehicle. An 18-year-old employee went out to her vehicle during a break and discovered several things missing. Missing items include:
- Sonic Toothbrush
- Chrome License Plate Cover
- Baseball hat
- Armor All Cleaner
- Hitch With Chrome Ball
- Sonic / Coca Cola Windshield Sunscreen With a Silver Bag
Surveillance camera footage revealed at 8:30 AM a male got out of a vehicle, got into the victim’s vehicle, and took the items. He was identified as 38-year-old Luis Beltran of Salina.
Deputies responded to Beltran’s home where he was arrested on a charge of burglary.
The stolen items were all recovered.
