Junction City police are investigating the shooting death of a 27-year-old man.

Police say in a news release that Elza Evans was found dead in a parking lot early Saturday. He had been shot several times.

Lt. Jeff Childs said in the release that police are asking anyone with information about the death to contact the police department or Crime Stoppers.
