Truck Driver Hurt in Crash

KSAL StaffNovember 16, 2016

A truck driver was hurt in a single vehicle crash near Salina early Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 40-year-old Tilton Woodley from Aurora, Colorado, was driving a 2016 Freightliner, traveling east on the east bound Ohio on ramp to Interstate 70. For an unknown reason, the truck left the roadway to the south, went down an embankment and through a Kansas Department of Transportation fence, and came to a stop in a treeline.

Woodley, who was not buckled up, was hurt. He was transported to Salina Regional Health Center.

The crash happened at 12:46 Wednesday on the Ohio Street on ramp to Interstate 70 just north of Salina.
