Truck Hauling Vehicles Catches Fire

No one was hurt when a semi transporting a load of vehicles caught fire.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 6:30 Saturday evening. A tractor trailer truck hauling multiple vehicles caught fire near mile post 73, in the Lindsborg area. The truck was headed to Guatemala.

The fire, which started in the cab of the truck, badly damaged the truck, and all of the vehicles it was hauling. It also ignited a small grass fire.

All traffic headed south was stopped as crews worked the scene.

There were no injuries.
