Woman in Jail after Pointing Knife

KSAL StaffSeptember 8, 2014

Police arrest a Salina woman accused of pointing a knife at an acquaintance.

Officers were called to a central Salina home early Sunday morning around 12:15am after a 46-year-old man was threatened with a knife.

Police arrested 37-year-old Leslie Keeler after an argument escalated in the home.

Police say she tore a shirt that belonged to the man – then pointed a kitchen knife at the victim.

The man was able to take the knife away from Keeler and called police.

There were no injuries reported.
