Woman Hurt in Crash

A two car crash sends an elderly Salina woman to the hospital for observation.

Salina Police report that 90-year-old Darlene Mack was driving a 2006 Chrysler 300, northbound on Ohio Monday night at 7pm and turned onto Magnolia, hitting a truck driven by 29-year-old Marc McIntire of Salina.

Mack, who was cited for failure to yield was transported to Salina Regional Health Center complaining of a dull pain throughout her body.

McIntire’s 2008 Chevy Silverado was damaged on the front quarter panel in the accident and he was taken by personal vehicle to the hospital to be checked out for minor back pain.

Police say both drivers were wearing seat belts.
