A Salina woman is arrested for attacking a male acquaintance with a splintered board.
Police arrested 26-year-old Starla Willenberg on Tuesday – in connection to an incident that took place on August 31st.
Officers were called to the scene of a disturbance in the 700 block of W. Cloud after a 35-year-old man was assaulted.
The victim told police that Willenberg became violent after searching through his cell phone and proceeded to throw an alarm clock and lamp down.
She also allegedly pushed over a dresser and grabbed a piece of splintered wood with exposed nails from the frame and hit him.
The victim had four red marks on his left arm and shoulder.
Willenberg is now facing charges of aggravated battery and damage to property. Police say she also broke the victim’s lap top computer in the yard before leaving the scene.
