Vehicle Damaged in Burglary

Salina Police are investigating after thieves cause $1000 in damages to a car in the parking garage at the hospital.

Police say Heather Jonas of Manhattan contacted authorities after discovering that her 2001 Pontiac Sunfire had been broken into sometime Monday between 7am and 7:48pm while parked at Salina Regional Health Center on South Santa Fe.

Someone had also removed numerous items from inside including an Apple iPad with two computer speakers, Fossil bag, a make up bag with Mary Kay products, two prescription medications and a pair of hospital scrubs.

Total loss and damage is listed at $2,100.
