Troopers Have Busy Holiday Weekend

It was a busy Thanksgiving weekend for Kansas State Troopers.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, troopers wrote over 450 tickets, gave out over 250 warnings, and worked multiple crashes.

Among the crashes, four involved fatalities.  None of these crashes were DUI-related.

The reporting period for the holiday weekend ran from 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2015, through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015.
