Authorities arrest a man after he allegedly flees from a stolen truck.
According to Captain Mike Sweeney, 19-year-old Zachariah McCready of Salina was apprehended by a Saline County Sheriff’s Deputy on Thursday afternoon around 3pm after the stolen vehicle was sited in the Elmore Center parking lot on E. Crawford.
Police say the 1999 Ford F-150 was stolen from a driveway at a residence in the 600 block of State Street sometime between 7pm Wednesday and 5am Thursday.
McCready is charged with possession of stolen property.
The Ford pickup is valued at $5,000.
