SPARK & Library to Host Writer’s Mixer

Salina and regional writers are invited to a writers’ mixer Thursday at 7 p.m. at SPARK Artist Resource Exchange, 146 S. Santa Fe.

Adults who write should bring up to 300 words of their current work, things like stories, poems, lyrics, or their National Novel Writing Month production, and participate in speed reading, writing games, door prizes, and conversation.

Refreshments will be served.

The event is sponsored by the Salina Public Library and SPARK Artist Resource Exchange, a new initiative dedicated to the development of artists in all genres supported by the Greater Salina Community Foundation and the Dane G. Hansen Foundation.
