Snow Followed By Arctic Cold

Snow that fell across Central Kansas ended early Sunday morning only to be replaced by bitter cold Arctic air.
According to the National Weather Service, Arctic high pressure will settle south across the area Sunday into Sunday night. Temperatures will hover around 20 degrees below normal for early January. Lows will drop into the single digits tonight with some of the coldest readings over the fresh snow cover.
Temperatures will remain cold through the weeks, with ho highs above freezing expected at least through Friday.
