Salina Police are investigating the discovery of a couple of counterfeit $50 bills found in bank deposits this week.

Police say staff at Bennington State Bank on South Ohio found a fake $50 bill in a deposit from The Scheme Restaurant, 123 N. 7th. Staff at First Bank Kansas on W. Crawford also detected a bogus $50 bill after a woman tried to deposit it into her account on Monday morning.
