A roll over accident sent a Topeka man to the hospital.
Saline County Sheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that 41 year-old Jason Powell of Topeka was traveling westbound in the 6800 block of Country Club Rd., when authorities think he fell asleep at the wheel.
The accident happened at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday night, when the 2010 Scion XD went off the north side of the road and rolled over before coming to a rest on its side in a ditch.
Powell was injured and sent originally to Salina Regional Health Center, then transported to a hospital in Wichita.
Powell was buckled up in the accident.
