Police are looking for a known suspect who kidnapped a woman and stole an SUV at gunpoint.
According to Captain Mike Sweeney, a man and woman were playing pool inside a home at 562 Upper Mill Heights on Wednesday when a group of four people came in.
Police say the male suspect pointed a handgun at them – commanded the 24-year-old female to come with him and then stole the man’s 2001 Chevy Suburban.
The woman was released a short time later in the 300 block of N. Penn.
Captain Sweeney tells KSAL News the vehicle was recovered Wednesday evening near Moon and Hageman.
Police are looking for the gunman plus 2 Asian males and a female who is described as white or Hispanic.
The group also stole a gold necklace, wristwatch, smart phone and wallet from the vehicle.
