A woman contacted police after she awoke to the sound of her 1997 GMC pickup driving away. Police say the truck with Kansas tag: 236 GPG, was stolen from the 900 block of Seneca at about 1:45am Wednesday morning. The truck is valued at $1,800.
Salina Police are investigating a damage to property case at Brown Mackie College. Police say someone punched out a door lock on the school’s 2004 Ford Super Duty van and then ruined the ignition by trying to steal the vehicle sometime between Sunday night and Tuesday morning. Police report the van was parked in the lot at 2100 S. 9th. Damage is listed at $500.
