One person was shot, and another arrested, during an incident during the noon hour on Monday.
Salina Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that the incident happened at 821 N. Second Steeet. Police responded at 12:32 in the afternoon to the report of a shooting. They found a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
He was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center, then transferred to a Wichita hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Sweeney says that a 34-year-old male suspect was taken into custody. An investigation is continuing.
Names of those involved were not immediately released.
