Police Blotter 8-4-14

Police are investigating a burglary from a construction site. Sometime between July 30th and July 31st, tools were stole from a job trailer at 1200 Shorline. A door lock was pried off to gain entry. items taken include two Milwaukee drills, two Milwaukee impact drivers, a Hilti concrete nailer, a Hilti transit with stand, and two Hilti hammer drills. The trailer belongs to Schwedtfager Masonery of Lincoln, Kansas. Total loss and damage is estimated at $4,451.

Burglars steal tools from a Salina business. Sometime between August 2nd and August 3rd, two locks were cut to gain access Midwest Gutter at 248 North Chicago. Items taken include a Dewalt drill, four little giant ladders, and two Omni gutter punchlets. Total loss and danage is estimated at
$1,953.

Burglars steal a gun, ammunition, and copper from a Salina business. Sometime between 10:48 and 11:57 in the morning on Sunday a lock was cut on a fence to gain entry to the outside yard of Superior Plumbing at 1645 Copper Court. Items taken include scrap copper, a 9 mm handgun, 100 rounds 9 mm ammunition, and 1,500 rounds of .22 caliber long range ammunition. The guns and ammunition were taken from the trunk of an unlocked car. Total loss and damage is estimated at $1,965.
