Mission Control Arrives In Kansas

KSAL StaffJanuary 30, 2018

A piece of American space history will call central Kansas home.

Workers at the Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson will restore NASA’s Johnson Space Center mission control center.

The machines will be cleaned, painted and placed on display in time for the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.

Cosmosphere officials say the restoration project will be complete by July.
