Salina Police make an arrest after finding a man wanted for beating and choking a female acquaintance.
Police arrested 44-year-old David D. Poole on Thursday in connection to a violent incident that took place inside a southwest Salina home on June 24th.
Police allege Poole hit the woman in the face multiple times and used his hands to strangle her.
At one point he threw her cell phone and smashed it as she ran for help.
Police say her eyes were swollen shut and her face had multiple bruises.
Poole is now facing charges that include aggravated battery and damage to property.
