Liquor Burglary Results In Arrest

Salina Police arrested a man allegedly involved in the burglary of T&R Liquor.

McCarver Lawson, 51, of Salina was arrested after witnesses saw a man break into the liquor store around 11 pm on July 18th.

Lawson, allegedly, threw a rock threw the front door shattering the glass. He then took four bottles of Barton Vodka and left.

The damage of the glass door is valued at $300.

Police found Lawson hiding on the 100 block of S. Cherry with the $16 of liquor right next to him. He faces charges of burglary, theft and damage to property
