Kettle Campaign A Sign Of The Season

KSAL StaffNovember 21, 2014

It’s a sign of the season. The Salina Salvation Army Kettle Campaign began this week.

The Kettle Campaign is the organization’s single largest fundraiser. It funds local Salvation Army programs throughout the year.

Red kettles and bell ringers this year are stationed at 17 locations around Salina. Bell ringers will be out accepting donations through December 24th.

According to the organization, volunteer bell ringers are still needed. Volunteers can sign up for as little as one hour. To volunteer, contact Roxanne Matous at the Salina Salvation Army

Volunteers from Salina Media Group radio stations KSAL and Y 93.7 will be ringing bells on Saturday, November 29th.
