Two Hurt In Motorcycle Crash

A man and woman are transported to the hospital after a motorcycle collides with a car.

Lt. Russ Lamer tells KSAL News that 22-year-old Timothy J. Smith and 21-year-old Alejandra Browne were taken to Salina Regional Health Center after a two vehicle crash near the Bicentennial Center on Saturday night.

Police say Smith had leg injuries while Brown was suffering from head injuries.

The driver of the car, Madison Toner, 17 of Salina was not hurt.

Police say rain was falling and the streets were wet on Saturday when the motorcycle hit the Oldsmobile Cutlass 4-door sedan in the passenger side.

The crash, which remains under investigation happened about 9:07pm on Kenwood Park Drive.
