Gun and Cash Taken

Salina Police are investigating a vehicle burglary.

Police say numerous items were taken from an unlocked 2013 Ford pickup that was parked in the lot at the Salina Red Cross Building, 145 S. Broadway on Friday between 11am and 11:40am.

The owner, Steve Ade of rural Salina told officers that someone removed a Ruger-Sturm .22 caliber revolver from the truck along with $1,200 in cash and his wallet.

The gun’s holster and Mr. Ade’s firefighter badge were also taken.

Total loss is listed at $1,850.
