Salina Police report a theft by deception case that made victims out of Harley-Davidson of Salina, 2200 N. Ohio and a 67-year-old Kansas man who was duped in a Match.com scheme.

Captain Mike Sweeney says a man identified as Neg Deeur, used a stolen credit card to purchase Honda motorcycle parts on November 8th.

The 67-year-old male picked up the parts and thought he was helping someone he had met online.

Police say the card was used to purchase $3,181 in parts before it was declined in a second attempt made on November 18th, when the store was notified the card was stolen.
