Fake Cash on Halloween

Salina Police are investigating after counterfeit money was used at Walgreens on Friday.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, someone used five, counterfeit $100 bills on October 31st to purchase five Green Dot money cards.

Staff at Walgreens at 700 S. Broadway contacted authorities after the purchase was made at the counter around 10pm.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
